  JWOC 2000 is the first-ever orienteering event of such importance where on-line transmission of splits, covering the whole course, and transfer of results to the Internet have been radio-transmitted. The radio transmission has been performed by a system designed and manufactured by RACOM.
  Splittimes was transmitted from SPORTident system and evaluate to speaker a spectators with Orienteering Organiser software.
